Cernay-la-Ville, ein Ort mit 1800 Einwohnern, ist 40 km südwestlich von Paris in der
« Vallée de Chevreuse » (Chevreuse-Tal) gelegen.
Der Hof von Familie Koning befindet sich am Dorfrand, direkt in Waldesnähe.

	Le grenier royal (6-8 people) The farm has a gite "Le grenier royal". This beautiful, spacious, attic apartment is equipped with a kitchen, living room, 3 bedrooms, a bathroom, separate toilet and central heating. The beds have duvets and cushions. Covers and sheets are not included. For a small fee they can be provided. A lovely, neat garden accompanies the gite. High season: € 530, Middle Season € 480, Low Season € 380
Le petit prince (2 to 5 people) Le Petit Prince is a detached bungalow, with a nice garden and terrace. It has a garden room and a barbeque. Inside the bungalow on the ground floor you will find a kitchen - dining room, a living room with a fireplace, television. The bathroom has a shower and a washbasin. The toilet is separate. On the first floor you will find: 2 bedrooms, 2 washbasins and a toilet. 5 single beds (90 x 200). Covers and sheets are not included. For a small fee they can be provided. The bungalow has central heating. High season: € 530, Middle Season € 480, Low Season € 380
	Le roi soleil (2-10 people) Le Roi Soleil has a large living room with a fireplace, a dining room, an American kitchen, a bathroom with shower, washbasin and a toilet. On the first floor are 2 bedrooms, one double bed (160 x 200), the others are all single beds, a bathroom with a shower, 2 washbasins and a separate toilet and a relax corner with television. On the second floor are 2 more bedrooms, each containing 3 single beds. Covers and sheets are not included. For a small fee they can be provided. The Lodge has central heating. Outside is a lovely garden with a terrace. High season: € 680, Middle Season € 590, Low Season € 540.
The tower As of the summer 2004 the tower has been converted into a gite. The ground floor has a lovely kitchen-diner with patio doors opening up into the garden. A spiral stair case takes you up to the first floor to the living room with an 'entre sol' above. The living room has a lot of period features, like original beams and walls and a view of the top of the tour. Through a cleverly built on passage you reach the 4 bedrooms, which all have their own en suite bathroom. All the bedrooms have 2 single beds (90 x 200). On the 'entre sol' above the living room there is space for 2 more people to sleep. Albert & Janny Koning have succeeded in creating a very comfortable guest house without losing any of the original period features of the old tower. Central heating, a dishwasher, washing machine and garden furniture complete the property. High season: € 980, Middle Season € 780, Low Season € 680.

The surrounding area A 3 minute walk will get you to the village for your daily groceries. The village has a butcher, a bakery, a small supermarket and a news shop. Larger outlets can be found at Rambouillet, a 10 km drive. There are several small towns in the vicinity, which are good for several lovely day trips, for instance Chartres (60 km), Euro - Disney (80 km) and Giverny with the museum of Claude Monet (70 km). Also, a little closer you can visit the castles of Dampierre, Rambouillet, Breteuil, Versailles, Fontainebleau etc. Paris is just a half hour drive.

If you are more an outdoor person, take one of the wonderful cycle routes or put on your hiking boots and explore the hiking trails of the valley. At the farm they can inform you with lots of brochures and books.

After Dampierre turn on the left direction Senlisse- Cernay
At the Peugeotgarage turn on the right and straight on.
